Displays above a counter need a readable layout

In a café, restaurant or quick-service venue, a menu board may be a single display or an illustrative three-to-five-screen row. Before installation, we need wall dimensions, display models, a spacing plan and counter height. That lets us review alignment, gaps and viewing angles without declaring a layout ready without venue information.

  • screen count and their intended sequence
  • counter height and a photo of the wall above it
  • brackets compatible with the exact displays

Allow space for cables and later service

Displays above a service area need safe access to their fixings, cables and power after the venue opens too. Cable routes, new electrical circuits, menu graphics, price updates and signage software are not automatic parts of installation. A request should say which elements are already prepared on site.

  • existing sockets and cable exits
  • out-of-service-hours access as a preference
  • a person coordinating work around the counter

Checks after fitting

After the displays are fitted, their alignment against the agreed layout and the basic stability of the brackets can be checked. This does not automatically mean programming content, calibrating a multi-display system or integrating with point-of-sale software. Those elements need separate description so fitting is not confused with system deployment.

  • checking display lines and gaps
  • reviewing accessible fixings
  • handing the area back to the site contact

Commercial FAQ

Is menu-content setup included?

Do not assume so. The scope covers confirmed installation of supplied items.

Can three menu displays be installed in one line?

That layout can be assessed from display dimensions, brackets and the wall above the counter. Screen count alone is not enough to confirm scope.

Do you enter menu items and prices?

No. Designing or updating menu content is separate from mechanically installing the displays.

Can work take place outside customer-facing hours?

You can state that preferred window and the access rules. Feasibility depends on the premises and confirmed scope.
