An inventory before disassembly avoids guesswork

For relocating fifteen desks and twenty chairs, or moving storage furniture to another premises, a model list, condition photos and a breakdown of items to dismantle are useful. They allow components to be labelled, fittings to be collected and parts to remain with their module. We do not assume every item, especially one that is damaged or incomplete, can be safely dismantled and rebuilt.

  • a furniture, model and quantity list
  • photos before disassembly begins
  • identification of items staying at the original premises

Components and fixings should travel with the item

Disassembly may include careful separation of agreed items, component labelling and collecting available fittings into identified sets. Transport, storage, packing by a moving company and responsibility for carriage are separate from assembly work. It is useful to agree who takes custody after disassembly and how the items should reach the new premises.

  • labelled fitting sets for each module
  • a moving-company contact
  • addresses, floors and access rules at both locations

Reassembly after delivery

Once items arrive, agreed furniture can be reassembled and its basic stability checked when the sets are complete and conditions at the new premises permit it. Additional products, missing fittings, damage repairs, wall work and changes from the original list need separate assessment. This keeps the work scope distinct from relocation logistics.

  • space for unpacking and assembly
  • complete component sets after transport
  • a person to confirm placement at the new premises

Commercial FAQ

Can every item be safely dismantled?

No. Condition, instructions and previous assembly method need review before scope is confirmed.

Is furniture transport included?

Not automatically. Transport and storage need separate description, including when a moving company is involved.

Do you label components before a move?

Within the agreed scope, dismantled components can be labelled and available fittings collected into identified sets.

Can every item be reassembled?

Do not assume so. Item condition, component completeness and manufacturer instructions can limit safe reassembly.
